The Friends of the Camden County Child Advocacy Center are dedicated to the complete renovation of its existing structure to provide a truly “safe space” for young victims of abuse and their families. When children come to the Camden County Child Advocacy Center, they will be speaking to law enforcement about the abuse they have suffered. For many victims of child abuse, the process of disclosing and discussing their abuse can be a stressful and traumatic experience. Interview rooms and waiting areas that are designed for the age group of the victims will be provided, as well as comfortable spaces for their accompanying family members. Your donation will help “The Friends of the Camden County Child Advocacy Center” create and maintain a place where victims can disclose their experiences in a comfortable and safe environment and where they can receive the services needed to begin the healing process.
